「The front desk was super helpful and the room was spacious. However, the pools were crowded - not to the point where you can’t enjoy yourself but also not super relaxing. I also found the buffet to be just OK.」

「The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special.」

「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」

「There was a huge ant infestation in the living room and some ants were found in one of the bedrooms and the water was leaking behind the sink. Horrible experience. They wouldn’t give us a different room when requested. And they are not responding to us regarding a refund.」

「C’était une très grande chambre (pratiquement un appartement) et super propre aussi. Nous sommes vraiment satisfait de notre expérience. L’endroit est idéal pour pratiquement tout faire à pied.」

「Not fancy but clean and well equipped. Nice pool and good breakfast. A little walk to the beach and the old town. Parking was good.」
