"The Artemis hotel is a truly special place - recently and beautifully renovated, nestled in lush gardens and right on the seashore - you can go from bedroom to beach in just 20 steps or less. Its tranquil setting with a private beach at the end of the bay from Makry Gialos, makes it feel secluded whilst still being a short walk from the harbour with its tavernas and cafes. "New and well decorated large apartment, fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. In front of the beach of Makrygiallos with free sunbeds and unbrellas. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definetely recommend it as it is very convenient spot to be your start point for the best beaches in South and South-East Lasithi. Bakery, markets, tavernas on a walking distance. Value for money!"

"Excellent place. Amazing food (actually too good). Nice staff. Only downer is a 100 euro "climate crisis tax" slapped on your bill at the end. If you're going to obligatorily add 100 euros to a bill. You should say this at the time of booking. When do we draw the line on this? A "water crisis tax" of 20,000 euros slapped on a check out bill? I realise it's not all their fault. But more could be done."
