"Overall, absolutely in love with Quebec City. The staff here were exceptional! Hotel was very well located to explore on foot. There was some construction across the street, so some minor confusion as to parking, but valet parking was right next door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! only issue was choosing which restaurants to visit, as there are so many within short walking distance."

"Amazing views of the chateau. We stayed in a room titled "Premium Room, Park View" and it truly had spectacular views of the chateau plus unexpected items like plates, toaster, a sink in the room, a microwave oven, and a kettle. Parking was nearby. Be careful not to make the mistake of pulling into the chateau parking. It's $60 per night, but other parking lots (example. Rue Haldimand) are about $24 per night. "

"Great place with small kitchen that was fully equipped. Room was much smaller than we expected and “king size bed” felt more like a queen. The parking rate was good and also available parking on street was easy and reasonable. The instructions to get into the property and retrieve our key was clear and easy. They also were able to let us in a bit early which was nice. Also very responsive when we needed anything. Overall would recommend."

"It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed having a drink on the balcony and feeling that we were somewhere warm! The kids enjoyed the pool and they were happy that goggles and scuba masks were available for them."

"Customer service was amazing, staff at front desk, valet, the restaurant and room service were all friendly, very helpful and kind. Room was a bit dusty, and furniture was pretty worn. As for amenities, one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the pool, hot tubs and spa. Online they make it sound like they have two heated pools, only one which children are allowed to use. During our 5 night stay we weren’t able to use the pool at all because everytime we tried both hot tubs and the pool were full of screaming children. They were so loud that you could hear them all the way down the hallways in the sauna and steam rooms. We loved the customer service, and like to go up to Quebec in the winters for long weekends, but will not be returning to this hotel unless visiting with friends who have small children. Plenty of other very nice boutique hotels that are much more relaxing and equally well located in the old port area. But a big thank you for the staff for being so wonderful. "

"It must have been a former government building which is fine but that means an extra effort should be made to keep it looking modern instead of Soviet. Pool was closed: first day, it was closed because of very short opening hours. Second day, we were told the lifeguard did not show up. No sign or anything. Third day, we were told there was emergency maintenance. I suspect there is a lie for either or both the second or third day. Room carpet looked dirty. Clock radio and alarm set to strange times. Back of bathroom door dirty. Window sheers dirty. Shower had very low water pressure. Shower handle dribbled. Toilet handle dripped. Room temperature was too hot and could not be adjusted; had to leave door open. Three towels for a room with 2 Queens is nonsensical. Room fridge was warm and could not be adjusted lower. USB charging ports do not work. One desk chair and one visitor's chair when there should have been two. One drinking glass when there should have been at least two. Two paper ccoffe cups when there should be about six."
