「This hotel has been our go to property in Deadwood since it first opened. We have stayed there 4 times and until this last stay have always been extremely pleased. We reserved a King Deluxe room but when we checked in we were informed that the King Deluxe room was not available due to an A/C problem so they had to put us in a double queen room. 「Super quaint. Although there is no front desk the check-in process was simple.The owners were quick to respond to my questions. Parking was simple.」

「Loved staying here. The charm and history was amazing. Bob went above and beyond for us with drinks and snacks in the kitchen. Along with extra towels, blankets etc. Breakfast was amazing and well priced, staff was super friendly and so knowledge about history of property.」

「A little warm in the cabin upon arrival but by the middle of the night it was perfect. A few spiders and a wasp in the shower but nothing I wasn’t expecting. Pet friendly and the staff was polite and very helpful even though I arrived after office hours. Great little spot, perfect for a good nights rest on a roadtrip, I’m sure an even better spot to spend a weekend. Thank you for sharing your space!」

「Found bugs immediately in bathroom, then crawling on the bed while I was in it. Bugs not found in Kansas where I'm from. Toilet not attached, mattress hard as rock. Entry cards stopped working after 5 days. Had to go to front desk to correct repeatedly. Back door slammed all the time and I was put 3 rooms away from it. $100 a night should get better results.」
