"I had an absolutely amazing view of Porto from my room. I had to be careful with my hotel room door though. I am used to a hotel room door closing behind me but the door to my room would not close unless I pulled it all the way shut, which caught me by surprise a couple of times. The staff was very kind and professional. The hotel is centrally located. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very comfortable bed, very clean, high quality beddings, carpet is plush, service is friendly and attentive, nice gym and spa, great bar and restaurants. Everything is great. I just wish the room could be a little brighter and better lighting at the vanity mirrors. "

"This was a beautiful hotel with a kind and very attentive staff. Breakfast was superb and location was magical. And one day, after I had asked that the maid only do the bathroom (but she ended up doing the bed too as well as my clothes…which I didn’t want), the staff sent me a bottle of their amazing Port wine and delicious nata desserts as an apology. I loved this hotel! "

"The hotel is beautiful. The Front Desk staff, concierge and Door Person were all super nice and helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were not very friendly and some times down right snooty with the exception of Ricardo. Our room was beautiful and clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will recommend the hotel. I was super impressed with how lovely all the flowers in the main lobby were and how clean everything was. Super comfy bed too. Nice spa area. "

"The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. A quick 3 to 5 minute walk down to the river. The staff were very friendly, helpful and at your beck and call. I highly recommend this property. The tasting with wine pairing was absolutely fabulous. Book your stay you won’t regret it. "
