Close, walking distance to the University is a major plus. Nice breakfast. Arrived early in the morning and had to pay additionally in order to have access to my room which was not a pleasant experience.
Level Lounge was well worth the premium price. Junior suite was a well-appointed spacious and clean room but had some issues with the jetted tub and shades functionality. Staff was excellent and helpful. Great location, walkable to many restaurants.
Very clean room and overall property. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

We didn't have a good experience with our family room at the lower level. Noise and out dated facilities. But the staff are very friendly and with good English. So they upgraded our room to a higher level. It was queiter with better facilities. Our last night with Melia was good.
There was construction and the noise was very apparent during the day, since we had checked in early since our flight was a red-eye. The charge for early check in was 100E, which I found exorbitant, especially since the construction was right outside! But it was in a very convenient location, a short walk to Grand Via.
We’ve stayed before. We enjoy the location and the staff. They have a LEVEL area we purchased which is nice for relaxing and having snacks. They provided a special area for watching the World Cup games, which was very nice. They seem to be forever doing some kind of facade work, which was going on last year too. This hotel is well located to the El Corte Inglés, restaurants, like Beata Pasta. You can’t go wrong!

Great hotel, great staff in a great location. We are American with limited Spanish. Everyone very kind and very patient with us as we massacred their beautiful language. Would definitely stay here again.
Pool is small but very well maintained. You must book your times to go to use the pool area. Room was very spacious and the staff were very friendly.

This hotel was lovely. The staff were extremely kind. Rooms were clean and quiet. Located in a great neighborhood near many of the sights without being right on the Gran Via.
Nice room but for the expensive upgrade the view sucked. Demand a room on floor 8 or higherRoom was clean and cozy, great shower but jet tub then not fixed properly. VIP levels was nice but weird that breakfast started later and some staff were amazing and others not as competent.
The location of this hotel was fantastic as were the staff and the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Madrid was a wonderful place to visit.
