Spectacular location, very friendly staff ready to help with anything, specially Victor and Maude. The place smelled and looked clean. Despite being just a place to rest since it didn’t have any additional facilities, it was amazing and felt safe.

Great location right in the heart of plaza del sol. The front office staff was amazing, Victor and another girl I wish I remembered her name helped us with the must see things in Madrid, reference amazing restaurants to try. Loved the balcony over looking the plaza and the room was clean.

Excellent, central location. Really lovely and helpful staff, particularly at reception. Spacious room, basic but clean, modern and with everything one might need. Plenty of big fluffy towels, good hairdryer, safe, kettle, fridge. The only issue we had was the noise coming from the room next door, particularly the loud sound of their shower’s water running. I’d never heard anything like it before. It didn’t spoil our stay but it was quite noticeable late at night or early in the morning.

First, I just want to say that the front desk staff at this hotel are above and beyond the rest, particularly Maud, she was helpful and accommodating to all our requests. The location of this place is fantastic, just in front of the Puerta Del Sol metro station and the oso y el magrono statue. The rooms are clean and spacious, just enough for a comfortable sleep, after a day wondering around with all that Madrid has to offer. Please be aware that the room that you can get it may doesn't have the beautiful view described in the picture and that the bathroom is not in the same room, but in the middle of two other bedrooms, still private, but a little inconvenient, particularly for couples.

Thanks Víctor for being the main reason I’m grateful of staying at this hotel. You offer a high standard customer service equivalent to a five star hotel, professional and always goes the extra mile to please. This was my third week on vacation and was arriving late night from Barcelona, and Víctor contacted me around 11pm to coordinate the preparation of the key and to tell me that he will be waiting for me even after midnight. There was not iron available, but he was able to find one & take it to my room in less than 5 minutes. Víctor, thanks for always being eager to help & for all your suggestions of the places to visit in the city. Also, thanks to the only lady who guided me with the tours (sorry don’t recall your name). There was no elevator the day I left, Sunday. It was broken since the day before & couldn’t be repaired because of the weekend. She took my heavy suitcase down from the third floor by herself, thank you again. The room is not even close to how it looks on the website photos; not pleasant. The cleaning was really poor, hair everywhere, dirty room, bathroom & the sheets were not that clean, in fact didn’t change it during the 7 nights I stayed. They only made the bed. The balcony doesn’t work, is only decorative & the closure of that door is broken. The noise is terrible; the curtain doesn’t block out the noise, so it doesn’t allow you to sleep (people talking, protests, the noise of the business restocking their merchandise at night, horrible…)

So I was a little skeptical to choose this place because I always read reviews. The location was ideal to the metro and it’s close by to so many other spots like Gran Via,the famous San Ginés Churros. When we arrived and entered the receptionist greeted us and was lovely. She ran to hold the door open as we tried to get our 4 luggage’s inside. She let us check in early too! She held the elevator door open and went with us to the room to ensure we knew how to unlock the electronic keypad. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor. We had a balcony view which was pretty cool and looked down into the street. The room was spacious and the largest room I actually had during my trip. The only downside was at night we were able to hear either the room upstairs or next to us, I couldn’t figure it out. They were a bit loud and we could hear their conversation. And you can hear the pipe system too, so when someone flushes upstairs you can be at the water go down the pipes. But overall the room was clean, hospitality was great, location was good. Downside is if you’re not a heavy sleeper that might be an issue.

The room was clean but not spotless, the staff was polite and friendly in general and the area is ideal but noisy because of too much crowd.Also the rooms are not sound proof you can hear everything next eg taking a bath or speaking and also the cleaning staff is noisy even around midnight when they reload the stock of amenities.
