The hotel is located on a winding road near city center and very convenient to get around. It is within walking distance of several attractions; there are plenty of restaurants nearby; and it is near metro stops so we were able to try Madrid's public transit during our visit. The hotel offers nice and clean rooms and friendly staff. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, and the complimentary afternoon snacks for guests are perfect treats to bridge the late Spanish dinner.

The hotel is in a great location and the hotel is beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful on finding things to do and hidden gems throughout the city. Wonderful hotel with elegant, well-sized rooms in an excellent, pleasant and quiet location. I loved the comfort and style of my room with old world wallpaper and a marble bathroom a step above the main room. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub, so it was definitely considerably larger than the average bathroom in Europe. Comfortable bed, excellent pillows. The room had a juliet balcony but it was a little hard to access thanks to double doors (contributing to the quiet) and the placement of the desk. I had one room service meal, which was fantastic. The hotel is on a lively but mostly pedestrian street with a lot of character. Great place to stay in Madrid.

Besides the property, the staff, the people who support and serve their guests is the difference. We greatly appreciated their eagerness to assist, help, make our stay comfortable and pleasant. We would like to acknowledge specifically Lilas and Pedro at the dront, Emely, Maria and Alejandra in the dining room. The laudry service was impeccable. What a group and what a team! We will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!

This property is amazing! Wonderful location…easy walk to the Prado, the Botanical Gardens and Jardín de Retiro, Plaza Major…lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops near by My sons and I were in Madrid for a wedding. The staff here is very kind and helpful, and they speak English. Room was exceptional…clean, comfortable beds, coffee maker in room…the hotel offers complimentary coffee and snacks every afternoon. The hotel itself is a work of art! I enjoyed taking the stairs over the elevator just to see the “lobbies” on the other floors! I would definitely choose this hotel again!
