. Did not realize lodge doesn't come with microwave or mini refrigerator definitely would look into cottage next time or bring cooler. The area doesn't have lots of food options so bring your own food is a must unless you're going to eat at lodge restaurant every day. Amazing trip with my sister will be back next year."

"There are several hotels in which to stay at this intersection outside Madisonville, Kentucky, but only one is clean, in good repair, and costs the least by far whereas the others are likely clean and and in good repair, offer a pool and a hotel lobby-style breakfast and COST THREE TIMES AS MUCH. Locally owned, and managed by a very sweet Indian couple, Big Spring Inn is very basic. I found it a very pleasant place to stay.
