「Great location」

「We had a wonderful stay at this little hotel. The location is wonderful! The gas station is less than 5 minutes away, and a large grocery store (Continente) is about 10 minutes away. São Vicente is in the middle of the island, so you are right in the middle of all the hikes and viewpoints, and very close to Seixal Beach. Room #1 is the closest room to the kitchen, so it can sometimes be a little noisy when other guests are using the kitchen. Overall, though, it is very quiet and very clean....

「Ramshackle hotel - when the wind blew everything was shaking. The patio is nice and the breakfast is fine. Parking is difficult but it seems that’s how it is everywhere」

「It located relatively high and the views are amazing; bus available but runs every 30 mins and comes on time. The staff are great! Super friendly and willing to help out.」

「We had a very good time at Casa do mundo. Miguel and his collegue Miqaela were very nice and they were always helpful and caring. Our room was very spacious and was cleaned every day. Getting from Casa do mundo to Funchal only takes about 20 minutes. We would definitely consider booking this place again the next time we are coming to Madeira. Thanks again Miguel and Miqaela!」

「Had a great stay, very nice rooms, and responsive staff. Perfect location for the city center, festivals, and beach access. They could use a better/more secure way of storing luggage between arrival and checkin and/or checkout and departures, but aside from that perfect stay.」
