"Amazing hotel and staff! Very clean and lovely rooftop bar and pool - front desk gave many great recommendations, from hikes to restaurants. Would absolutely stay again! Recommended a parking lot 5 minute walk away that’s only €4.50 per day, so was easy to have a rental car."

"Hotel was fantastic,staff very friendly make you feel very welcome,breakfast excellent,roof top pool and main pool very clean great atmosphere. Rooms modern and air conditioned,The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and lots of choice salmon dish and the crème brûlée is a must try ,Definitely recommend and would not hesitate to return all in all we had a great stay here."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Lovely property is a great location walkable down to town. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view! All our meals were delicious and the staff friendly. My favorite part was the selection of gorgeous places to sit by sea and ease to go for a swim in the refreshing water."

"The hotel was beautiful, our ocean view room was great and the staff were very kind and helpful. The only downsides are that the hotel is far from Funchal and most other tourist landmarks/hiking trails, which is inconvenient. Also, there are a lot of hidden costs, like the poolside beds, laundry or spa services. Overall it was an amazing stay if you want to relax but if you want to explore the island I’d recommend staying in Funchal."

"Such a beautiful experience at Reid’s. The staff was a delight and super helpful. Everything was taken care of. We needed a bandaid and the front desk had it in his jacket pocket! They think of everything! We booked several experiences with them and they all were done amazingly well. There were some hiccups in our transfers but very minor. We’ll be back!"
