"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the river. Breakfast was not free, but was reasonably priced and the variety of food was good. There was plenty of free parking across the street by the river. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again. "
