We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. 「A modern bathroom in a 14th century hotel was definitely not expected. WiFi worked in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast provided a good selection and the cooked items were really good. Sunday lunch was close to home made with plenty of different vegetables. Will definitely return!」

「Conveniently located ,my room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good. My only gripe was that although it is common with hotel chains for breakfast to be extra, when staying in a Bed & Breakfast I expect Breakfast to be included in the price when booking and not as an extra. The sign above the door says Bed &Breakfast and that’s what I expect when I book.」

「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely.
