"Love this hotel so much. There was some confusion over the room that I thought I had booked, but that was really my fault rather than the hotel, but they went to all lengths to make sure we were happy - and we were. Staff are super friendly, not just in the hotel but the restaurant for breakfast and in the attached pub next door. Such a great stay - thank you for looking after us :) "

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived and helped us with our bags. The room was quite big and had a side sea view and it was lovely sleeping with the window open, listening to the sea. The room was very hot but better on second night as we'd left the window open all day. The room and bedding were clean. Room decor was very plain, could have done with a few pictures. As other reviews have said, hot water took a while to come through and even then, was fine for me but my husband prefers a hotter shower. Also, the water didn't drain away quickly enough. No food or bar available but we knew this beforehand. There are plenty of choices of cages, pubs and restaurants within 5-10 minites walk for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was excellent value for money bit bear in mind, the low price reflects the fact that decor could do with an overhaul. At this price though, we would definitely consider staying again."

"A lovely maisonette but truly the worse communication ever! I could not get anyone to pick up the phone. The messages I sent were not answered. We had genuine questions but could not get responses. I could not recommend for this reason. No info where to park your car (there isn’t a driveway), no info if there is a blow dryer, shampoo (no), is there salt & pepper, there was a window open when we arrived and dirt in the bath (I sent photos), what do we do about the shower not draining properly, etc. No way to get through to get answers from the management company. Feel sorry for the owners. Frustrating. "
