"Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. "

"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. "Three night stay to attend a music festival. The reception area is large, airy and with plenty of seating and has a great little Starbucks counter. The checking in process was flawless and staff were professional and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable albeit a little tired in areas. There was no AC but two fans had been provided which did the trick. The buffet breakfast was excellent, especially the cooked sausage! And totally set us up for the day. It is possible to walk into town but it is also on a bus route which stops across the road from the hotel. For what we wanted this hotel gave us it and more."
