「Pleasant area. Nice reception area as I spent a good 20 minutes awaiting for service. Not much of in room entertainment. Table lamps available but with no sockets to plug into 」

「We had a wonderful 14 day stay in a 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor. The area around the Mansion is beautiful, walkable nature parks and fields. It is very quiet and secluded in a safe, clean area close to shopping and eateries. The restaurant at the mansion - Becketts was such a bonus to our stay. Everything we ordered was delicious and the Full English Breakfast was a huge hit for my husband, and I really enjoyed the Avocado toast and then there was the dessert case...so yummy! The room...

「I have wanted to stay here for some time. Finally got to do a pre Christmas stay. Our room was amazing, you get a real feel of the history of the building. A lovely warm welcome, with a welcome letter, giving some history of the hotel. Dinner was so good, a reasonable priced wine list and first class food. Breakfast which was included, so rare these days, and was very good. Really loved our stay and it will now be a place to return to, again and again. Would be a wonderful place for a wedding,...

「Had a lovely pleasant stay. Had a very welcoming experience from the owner who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious, as was the en-suite. Breakfast was an abundance of fresh yoghurt, pastries, cheeses and cereals. Hot tea and coffee with crumpets, toast etc. would definitely recommend and we will stay again. 」

「This is a dog and pet friendly hotel. The proprietors couldn't have been kinder and more helpful especially as this was the first time we had taken our 2 dogs to a hotel. Pam even made up biscuit packs for them 2 phone calls received to check which type of room, and we were given a large sea view room for pet comfort! Down side no garden or outside area however beach was a short walk away. Hotel furnishing a bit dated No dining facilities, restaurants nearby including beach front bars. Shower...

「The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you. My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room. 」

「Excellent position for the quay and Poole centre. The room was very well decorated with all the facilities in great condition , spotlessly clean and comfortable. We visit Poole area regularly and will be staying at the Anchorage again. Thank you Jenny for a lovely stay.」
