The host and hostess are remarkably friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb with fresh fruit and berries, Greek yogurt, a full breakfast plate and the most delicious scones, biscuit and sweet breads. The room was cozy and sweet with all the amenities we would need as well as a welcoming basket. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming hosts who have a beautiful property. The home is very clean, with gorgeous furniture and decor. House is within walking distance to the main streets in Lunenburg. Hosts have great local suggestions on activities and sightseeing! Rose is an AMAZING cook/baker. Breakfasts were made fresh and according to our food preferences. Had everything we could have needed and more! We will definitely be back! Thank you Rose, George and Julia!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose & Thistle!! Our room was clean, spacious and bed comfortable. Location was perfect for walking to and from town for sight seeing or dinner and The hosts were both lovely! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a special place to stay. Rose and George are excellent, personable hosts. The room was perfect, and breakfast the next day was sumptuous. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Lunenburg.

Excellent B&B!

Excellent place to stay. Owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot about the area and the history of the house. Highly recommend!
