The Hacienda itself has a great tour called journey of coffee that shows how an ecological coffee farm is organized and ran. It takes about 3 hours. We enjoyed every minute of it. The place is kind of a ranch out of Salento but Julian the owner drove us to town and to Cocora valley when needed. We enjoyed milking the cows and riding the horses. Very good customer service. "I enjoyed my stay at the Movich Hotel in Pereira overall. The location was excellent and very convenient. I especially liked the breakfast buffet, which included typical soups, pastries, fruits, and a good variety of options. The female staff member at the omelette station during the weekdays did a very good job preparing the eggs and arepas. However, the male staff member tended to overcook both the eggs and arepas. The chicken soup served at dinner was delicious. It would be nice if the dinner menu included more traditional Colombian dishes. I also appreciated the access to the sauna and steam rooms, as well as the free parking available for both guests and visitors. One disappointment was that the jacuzzi was out of service during my entire stay. In addition, the coffee bar appeared to serve hard or old cookies, and warming them up did not improve the quality very much. Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, especially the location, amenities, and several food options, but there are a few areas that could be improved."
