"On the positive side the room was very attractive with a modern minimalist vibe and floor to ceiling windows. It was clean and the bed extremely comfy. The staff all were friendly and helpful and the location was great. On the other hand the room was form over function. There was no place to easily put suitcases and no tables or desks other than the bedside table to place things other than the large sink area that served as both a bar sink and the lavatory for the bathroom and this was used to place toiletries and makeup. The lighting by the mirror was very dim. No closet but a hanger area for clothes that was small. 2 coat/towel hangers outside the bathroom. It made things less comfortable than it should be. Even though we had a double room this room would be perfect for one traveler with one small bag who doesn’t need to put on makeup lol. Also the room was quite on Wednesday and Thursday but we could hear some music from the clubs on Friday but it wasn’t blaring but then gain we were on the 11th floor."

"I liked this hotel for its location, friendly staff, and pretty good breakfast. My room, however, had sheets stained in what I hope is wine and our microwave and coffee machine did not work. I talked to the staff and they helped replaced the sheets!"

"Wanted to find a hotel with free parking that was close to downtown and all our other planned activities, and honestly this place was perfect. It’s so close to drive anywhere in Austin I would recommend it for the parking and location alone. Hotel rooms were clean and I have a VERY high standard of cleanliness. Not sure how often they are supposed to clean the rooms but nobody came in to ours until we asked on day 4 for new towels and a sweep of the floor. Breakfast was free and quite convenient. Make sure to have the fruit it’s exceptionally good being that far south. The layout of the hotel is insanity but it was always hilarious trying to find our room. Good thing they put up markers outside the stairwells to help guide you (you’ll see). Would stay here again."

"I had cockroaches in my room and my co-worker had ants and other bugs. Rooms walls were not cleaned. It was a bad experience had to be moved as the bugs were so bad."

"You have to pay for parking $39 for overnight or you can valet for $45 and that was not mentioned when booking. It would be very helpful if it would be mentioned when booking at this location. it’s a very old building definitely needs upgrades. Parking area sucks."
