Hotel Carignano is a perfect hotel to stay in with their great staff, easy check in, a location that is very amenable to the walled old town Lucca (tip: free parking at Piazzale Don Franco Baroni. It's less than 5 minutes walk to the walls from there.) The breakfast buffet has ample and a variety of foods to select from. A truly great hotel to stay in and enjoy all that Lucca has to offer!!

Hotel pulito e moderno. La stanza è spaziosa, luminosa e ben arredata. Bagno ampio e moderno con doccia. Personale cortese e disponibile. Zona periferica e tranquilla a circa 5 km dal centro facilmente raggiungibile in 10 minuticon l'auto. La colazione a buffet è continentale con buon assortimento di prodotti dolci e salati offerta in una sala spaziosa ed accogliente. Un appunto lo faccio in merito alla preparazione dei prodotti che, esclusa la bella presentazione, nonostante fossero le 7.45 ho trovato in alcuni casi molto freddiuova sode, il pane (forse non ancora ben scongelato), le brioche anche un po secche (forse non fresche). Avendo soggiornato una sola giornata, forse abbiamo avuto solo una piccola sfortuna. Comunque una struttura da consigliare.

Super mais prendre chambre renove

La piscine est très bien. La literie est bien mais peut mieux faire et les salles de bains sont à rénover. Mais je crois qu ils sont en train de tout rénover. Donc si vous voyers nouvelle salle de bain allez y c est super

Lang weekend i Lucca.

Fint og rent hotell. De ansatte var behjelpelig med det vi spurte om. Lite møblerte rom , og ingen mulighet for å sitte der. Kunne gjerne hatt glass på rommene. Dessverre var det veiarbeid i området, så planlagte utflukter med buss utgikk. Umulig å få taxi tilbake til hotellet fra Lucca sentrum, noe som resulterte i en 6 km lang gåtur i mørket.

Dejligt sted med et fint pool. Personalet var meget imødekommende. De var i gang med maling og renovering - uden at det har generet os. Det er et meget fint sted - når man ikke forventer dansk morgenmad (det får man aldrig i IT)

A third-class hotel

A third-class hotel. The room we had no window to the outside, the pool area is photoshopped. No wi-fi in the room. The entire interior was made back in the 90´s or even 80´s.....Breakfast - not to mention. Overall a bad experience.

Confortável e simpático

O hotel está a cerca de 10 minutos de carro do centro de Lucca, e conta com estacionamento gratuito. O quarto é confortável, com varanda, o chuveiro é fantástico e o café da manhã, simples. Jantamos na noite anterior no hotel (menu com primeiro e segundo pratos, sobremesa e bebida) por 20 euros por pessoa e a comida estava deliciosa, especialmente o ravioli e o linguini. Destaque para o excelente atendimento dos funcionários. O único ponto negativo ficou para o preço: reservei com mais de três meses de antecedência, mas simulando no dia da chegada o preço estava 20% inferior ao que paguei inicialmente, mesmo com o hotel quase lotado devido a uma excursão.

The reception wanted to keep our passports overnight, I said no and she copied them and gave them to me. The wifi didn't work in the room. She said that since I was on vacation it was of little importance. The coffee maker at breakfast didn't work so we went to the bar for coffee. She said the bar coffee was better so I should be silent.

Lovely staff and great pool.

We sadly only stayed 1 night here as we were on route to Umbria. Such friendly staff and a great pool for the boys! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Despite being on the periphery of Lucca it was perfect for a quick breather. The staff made the hotel even better as they were really friendly and welcoming. There is a good, well priced restaurant attached to the hotel where we are well and without spending vast sums. Well worth a visit!
