「This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. 」

「Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!」

「It was very old school.and it was not what I expected. Quite a unique experience because it is so remote. No regrets, you mighr want a 4 wheel drive. I was treated like a VIP.」

「El personal súper amable, nos recibieron aunque llegamos del aeropuerto ya entrada la madrugada. La casa muy limpia, los baños son compartidos pero puedes elegir habitación privada y todo muy bien ideal para descansar si llegas de noche y empezar el día por la mañana. La casa se encuentra en una colonia privada súper seguro. Puedes estacionar afuera. Si lo recomiendo 👍」

「I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session.」

「Romiro was great helping us out with a walkthrough of the property. Amazing location, great views from the room and from the lush green lawns next to the reception. Jacuzzi was great add on with great views.」

「Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful.」

「Hotel owners, both husband and wife and their staff were really helpful and friendly. Property is really well maintained with diverse flowering plants and villa room we stayed in is very spacious and clean. Even though it is still the wet season, temperature was really pleasant and A/C wasn’t needed to sleep well. Very peaceful environment and walking distance to town square. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax.」
