We are typically not picky when we stay at hotels, but unfortunately this was not the experience we expected. When we arrived, the kitchenette still had items left behind from a previous guest in the drawers. There were also no soaps provided for either the shower or sink, and some of the pillows appeared stained.
The following morning, we requested room service to clean the room and replace the sheets, as we were traveling with children and our baby had made a mess on the bed. We also asked that they do a more thorough cleaning, given the leftover items and missing essentials.
While the staff did apologize, no one came to clean the room. Instead, we were given sheets and asked to change the bed ourselves. Overall, it felt like the room may have been rushed during cleaning, and several important details were missed.
