The hotel is on the older side, but you can tell the staff truly care for it. Everything is well-maintained – nothing was broken, everything worked as it should. The cleanliness was outstanding: the room, bathroom, towels, and linens were all spotless, and there was absolutely no unpleasant smell anywhere.
The room itself was spacious and offered a lovely view of the waterfront and the city beach. Having a Cheesecake Factory right next door was convenient.
One minor drawback is the abandoned store building next to the hotel – it’s not the most pleasant sight and at first gave a slight sense of unease, but during our stay everything felt safe and quiet. Breakfast is light, mostly snacks, so you might want to follow it up with something more filling at Starbucks.
Overall comfortable and safe, though the price feels high for what it is.
