"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, and the ample space allowed the three of us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The comfortable beds and well-equipped facilities met our needs. We were pleased with the parking facilities for our rented car. Additionally, the opportunity to swim, play table tennis, and watch TV on the newly installed set added to our enjoyment. While we would have appreciated more nearby amenities, having a car made this less of an issue."

"Great hotel but flawed. The hotel is lovely and in a fabulous location. The reception and wait staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms well maintained and serviced daily if you wish - they have small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Shower pressure is strong!! No family rooms so need to book 2 interconnecting rooms which is fabulous for space but hikes holiday cost right up Unfortunately they are about 100 sun-loungers short to be able to accommodate all resident of the complex - 2 hotels and small villas/apartments. Not allowed to lie your towel on grass and when you speak to pool staff they couldn't care less. I was directed to beach but would need to pay€10 for a bed and €8 for a parasol on their private beach or go to indoor pool to lie- this is different to previous Maistra hotels i have stayed in. The restaurant breakfast is nice - plenty choice and again tea/coffee/water/fruit juice. Half board evening meal is ok- nothing spectacular but does not include any type of drink but they do offer a full bar at an additional fee. They have a couple of other restaurants on site but again not included with your package- all come with own charge. Game room is great- PS5/Switch 2/some racing game. Pool and table tennis. 3 small local/independent places on promenade otherwise its all Maistra owned. It's not an easy walk into the small town so they very much have you! Can get the boat to Dubrovnik for €15 return just along from hotel or other way into Cavatat."

Hotel Lapad

"I stayed at Hotel Lapad with a friend and found the experience to be fairly average. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building, featuring a pleasant swimming pool and offering convenient walking and bus access to the Old Town. We also enjoyed the live music in the evenings, which created a pleasant atmosphere. The massage salon and room service were convenient, and the prawn risotto we had for lunch was particularly enjoyable. However, the service was a notable drawback. Most staff appeared disengaged and not particularly welcoming, especially the lady and waiters at breakfast. On several occasions, waiters cleared plates without checking whether we had finished, even when food was still remaining. Around the pool, the attendant was frequently absent, and sunbeds were often reserved early and left unused, making it difficult to find available space. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, and there were no USB charging ports in the room, although reception kindly assisted by providing adapters when needed. Overall, it was a very average stay with some pleasant features, but several service-related issues impacted the overall experience."
