I really liked this little property and would stay here again. The staff was helpful and rooms clean. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and we enjoyed 2 sunset dinners on the hotel deck. The bus was convenient across the street from the hotel and delivered us to the Pile Gate . Overall pleased with the value of this property.

Great hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the Splendid hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I found my room quite comfortable and I liked the balcony with the view over beautiful Adriatic. The bus stop was just short walk away from the hotel so getting to the Dubrovnik Old Town was quite easy.

Great hotel located outside of the busy city centre. Quiet atmosphere and an amazing view. The breakfast was better than expected and the restaurant served some really nice food. It’s a luxury you can swim directly in the sea. Not so kid friendly, but this is only positive if you’re looking for a quiet hotel without too many kids.

You cannot beat the location... a short walk to the beautiful walking path that surrounds the inlet and the direct bus to the Old Town is right across the street. Every room is waterfront with beautiful views and spectacular sunsets. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The included breakfast was wonderful with several hot and cold choices. Would definately stay again.

Nice stay

Pleasant stay at Splendid. Staff all very polite and helpful. Accomodation clean but a bit dated. Good air con and comfortable bed. Access to beach for swimming can be very busy with lots of locals swimming after work. It’s a very rock beaches and uneven underfoot so be careful getting in and out. Breakfast good. Bus in and out of town ( number 4 ) stop close.

The Hotel Splendid is an amazing property with the most stunning views. The staff were superb, nothing was to much trouble for them. Property is maintained inside and out on a daily basis. Transport to the old town and other areas is most convenient. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel. I will certainly stay here again. Thak you Hotel Splendid..

Amazing stay

Amazing stay. It was the firs time travelling with our baby and this place was perfect for that. Beautiful surroundings, amazing service and cleanliness. Very helpfull with outdoor activities and great food. We will definitely come back

We had an incredible holiday here and absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, providing us with a packed lunch when we couldn't make breakfast due to going on an excursion. They sea views were stunning and the hotel was right on top of the beach. Breakfast was on a patio overlooking the sea with lovely views. 10/10 and would recommend this hotel!

Found the value for money wasn't the greatest. The best part was the water access from the hotel and private beach area. However I found it odd you had to rent lounge chairs after paying so much for your stay.

Hotel in need of upgrade, you pay for what you get. So dated, AC doesn’t work makes a bunch of noise, shower is like a power wash, restaurant service super slow. One night was enough! You might want to reconsider if you plan on staying longer. Only good thing was the view, I’d take comfort over view any day.

Fantastic 10/10 stay

The two of us stayed for 3 nights and it was brilliant. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and give us so much information about the area, buses, etc. We landed early on the Thursday and they accommodated us with early check in. The room was super clean and had a comfortable king size bed. The fridge had a room also which was great for putting drinks and after sun in. We went for the sea view room with a balcony and the view was amazing, definitely worth getting this option. The food was lovely in the hotel, lots of choice. There’s a bus right outside the hotel that is €2 each way and it brings you into old town in about 10 minutes. Reception had a timetable of all the bus times. We got the bus lots of times, really easy. Down at the water they have sun loungers and umbrellas but you have to rent them, we paid €22 for the day which included 2 sun loungers and an umbrella. There’s a jet ski rental right beside the hotel which we availed of and it was brilliant. When you leave the hotel, turn left and walk down about 2 minutes and cross the road there’s a brilliant shop with everything from drinks, snacks, toiletries, souvenirs, beach towels, etc. The only small minor thing that we noticed was that house keeping started very early and was coming knocking on the door at like 8.30/9 so make sure to use the do not disturb sign if you don’t want to be wakened!!! They were brilliant tho, came everyday and changed sheets, left new towels, etc. We would stay again
