"The hotel was in a very good location, walkable to the old town. The hotel itself was modern and had a bright and airy look to it. My hotel room was extremely comfortable and spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the Adriatic. There was a turndown service every evening replenishing towels and water. Also leaving a chocolate for each of you. A very nice touch. The breakfast was excellent offering a wonderful choice of hot and cold foods. The staff were extremely efficient. The staff generally couldn’t do enough for you."

"This was the first hotel I have stayed at on vacation where I did not want to leave the hotel. Usually a hotel is a place to sleep and shower for me. The design of the hotel is beautiful. The restaurants and bar were incredible. We had a super-romantic dinner with a table right on the water and live music. You can sunbathe and jump in the Adriatic from the beach deck. The service was incredible. Knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff and attentive room service. I cannot say enough about Hotel Excelsior"

"If there is a 6 star to give to this facility,I would gladly rate it as a six star. We love this place with its beautiful view overlooking the sea and the rest of the nature around us. "Love this hotel its closest enough to old town where you can hop on a bus right out front for 1.75 euro and be there in 5 minutes but far enough away where you have privacy. The swimming area in the adriatic is fantastic and so is the spa. Also love the breakfast its so good and the views from the hotel are amazing not to mention the sunset. The rooms are really nice, spacious clean and have every amentity. Would highly reccomend staying here"
