「The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing.」

「This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!」

「First room we were given was very bare, only a bed, no bedside tables or lamps, nowhere to put suitcases or hang clothes. Asked for a different room and were immediately accommodated. The new room was excellent, clean, a comfortable bed, bedside tables and lamps - although still nowhere to hang clothes or put suitcases off the floor. It also had a kitchen area which apparently was charged extra for if used ( we didn’t). It was a ground floor room with a door to the outside with a table and two...

「This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

Jeden Tag wurde mit bedacht und Hingabe uns alles von den Lippen abgelesen und mit liebe agiert damit dieser Aufenthalt traumhaft war. Zu 100% ist das ein Top Adresse für einen wunderschönen und ruhigen Aufenthalt in der Normandie. Danke für diese schöne Zeit.」

「We chose this as a base for Dday activities (over Bayeux). No regrets. The room was spacious with a view of the sea. The staff was lovely and we could walk into Arromanches in about 5 minutes, which had shops, restaurants, and a museum which provided great information on naval landings (Overlord and Dragoon) which we didn’t get anywhere else (all outside the museum).」

「Classic chateau property just outside Bayeux! Taxi was quick but necessary. Pool & spa special, as well as, the property grounds. Restaurant 1790 was Michelin Star level & wouldn’t be surprised if they receive one star in the future.」

「Awesome place to stay. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Manuel and Sebastion were very knowledgable about the area as well as its history. They were great to have around to help my family and i with planning our route to hit all the spots relevant to the allied invasion of 1944.」
