「The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. 」

「This place is a Jim, I was so glad to have booked this hotel. It is a bit up the hill, but the view is phenomenal and the staff was amazing and dedicated to make sure my stay was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the air conditioning worked great, the rooms were big with a private patio, the shower was super clean. I definitely recommend and I will go back for sure.」

「A great place to stay! The view from the balcony was the highlight, the ocean and surroundings were exceptional! The property has well maintained gardens and wild life abound-far more than what we saw on the park tour! Capuchin and squirrel monkeys were regular visitors, including howler monkeys, toucans and a sloth in the nearby trees! The villa itself was well equipped, but could use updating. William, the host, was welcoming, kind and helpful.」

Food was so good and had a special every night that we ate there both nights.The owner himself introduced himself and extended his appreciation. 「The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and modern and in a very good location for dining and activities. The pool was also very nice. The "hot tub" was not hot it was colder than the pool but overall very nice. Also the shower was not luke-warm on the hottest setting but finding this common in CR. Final word...I would stay here again.」

「We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. 」
