住了三晚要的牙刷ㄧ直沒來，房間內也沒有熱水壺要熱水泡咖啡都要去廚房拿，只是小東西但對旅者來說很重要。燈應該壞了幾盞，按了開關都沒亮。

房間隔音較差，不時聽到鄰房的關門聲音。 電梯只通往地下至三樓，往四樓的房間時，要由三樓上一層樓梯。 酒店wifi信號較弱，間中會中斷連線。 房間清潔度一般，需要自備飲用清水。

Near the little Venice. Posh area.
Nice hotel. People are friendly. Prices are reasonable give that it is situated in a nice area in London. I high recommend this.

Very very tatty, would not stay here again unless it had a MAJOR update, staff were helpful though. Breakfast offering also very poor.

Don't trust the photos! Lamentable state of the establishment, stained carpets, chairs and armchairs. General dilapidation of places. Please note: an elevator dates from the 1920s and only serves 2 floors out of 4. This hotel needs to be completely renovated. Makes you wonder if it meets standards. Certainly not the 4* displayed on the site. SCAM or the secret to a completely ruined stay. I strongly advise against it. Go your way.

Terrible. Never stayed at a place like this. Firstly the place looked great outside and in the reception, but when we walked in the smell was awful. Then they down graded our room to a lower double instead of a club. They tried to tell us that a lower club is what we booked (no such thing on the website). No fridge, no safe and rhe TV didn't work. 24 hrs later after asking for a maintenance call for the tv, we're told not all TV's work in the hotel. Then we ask for a swap to the room we booked (a club room). Be careful what you ask for. We're put on the top floor and warned about the plumbing. We now had a fridge, but it didn't work, we had a safe and a tv that works. We only had hot water, as in it starts warm and end up boiling and no cold water and it makes a continual humming sound. The kicker is the elevator only goes to the second floor and we were now on the 4th floor. There was no one to help with the bags. Oh and also, the rooms up there were done on the Sunday, but the dirty linen was left on the floor outside our room for 24hrs.

Quite rough around the edges. No mini bar when there said there was. Slow internet. Slow staff service. Asked for towels and waited 4 hours and then had to phone on the mobile to reception desk as the in room telephone wasn’t answered when we used this call reception.

Very old. The madrass in the bed was so old and broken. The floor in the bathroom was broken and also the bathtub so broken. The breakfast was nothing but cheese and ham and stone hard baguett.

La verdad es que mi pareja y yo fuimos con las expectativas muy bajas por los comentarios de google de tal manera que creía que me tenía que buscar otro sitio para dormir sin devolverme el dinero. Pero cuando llegamos al hotel, a parte, de que por fuera esta muy cerca del metro que comunica muchisimas zonas de londres, se veía una zona bastante buena y tranquila. También ahi que reconocer que el hotel es muy antiguo y que el ascensor es viejo, pero divertido. Nosotros estuvimos en la habitacion 23 en la segunda planta y teníamos balcón, había nevera que no la vimos hasta el último día, la ducha y el baño estaba limpio, la moqueta tenía alguna que otra mancha, pero estaba limpia. Alfinal una moqueta con tantos años es normal que llege al punto que ahí manchas que ya no se quitan. Teniamos agua caliente y calefacción, que no nos hizo falta ponerla, porque el hotel ya tenía también la calefacción durante todo el día y cuando llegaba la noche se estaba muy bien. La cama estaba limpia y venían hacer la habitación cada día. El desayuno estaba bien, poca cosa, pero tanto los cruasanes que ponían, el embutido y las magdalenas, estaban riquísimo. El café mejorable, pero también podías variar con zumo de naranja, te o zumo de manzana; también leche con 3 tipos de cereales, 3 tipos de mermeladas, yogures, y variedad de fruta. Nosotros pasamos 4 noches y la verdad que bien. El colchón ya estaba bastante hundido pero tampoco se dormía mal del todo.

La chambre ne correspond pas a la description. Chambre reservée avec balcon, mais pas de balcon. Peignoir wt chausson dans la description, aucun dans la chambre. Pas propre a l arrivée, sous le lit il y avait un sous vetement des personnes precedentes. Linge pas changé pour 4 nuits. Petit dejeuner pas copieux et tres vetuste. Le point positif est la proximité du metro Warwick a 150 m qui relie Picadilly Je ne recommande pas. Ne vaut pas ses 4 etoiles

Not how it looks
Dreadful hotel. Located in nice area, but terrible hotel. On top floor with no lift, paper thin walls so woken numerous times. Dirty room that smelt of damp. Worn furniture & carpet. Nothing like the photos.

Hotel near tube
If u expected new modern and clean this hotel is not the answer, this hotel is old European style , vintage and classy with good friendly staffs, please note this hotel has no proper elevator so if you dont want to climb up too high so dont request for high floor. Location is great Only2mins walk to the tube station zone2. Overall 7/10 good experience here

The foyer was attractive as was dining area with many quirky features throughout the hotel. We had booked for two nights. At 9.00pm on the first night there was no lift to the 4th floor. The room was cold, smelt musty and there was no hot water. We were too tired to address all of this . In the morning I discovered the phone was not working. I made my way to reception and we were offered to use a room in the basement to shower and offered another room later in the day when the occupant had left. This room was fine. Warm and comfortable. I asked for a refund for the first nights poor experience but was told as I had booked through Expedia they would need to become involved. The agent I spoke instantly gave a £25.00 voucher as a good will gesture. Sadly they had no response from the Hotel to move the situation forward. The complaint is now closed so a refund will not be remunerated. Very disappointing.

A rather tired but beautiful building
I have stayed at the Colonnade three times before, but not since 2018. There is no doubt that it is not of the same standard now! I was dreading it, after reading the reviews, and thinking that I’d made a terrible mistake, but it was absolutely fine. I had messaged when I made the booking, asking for a room that it was easy to get to, as I have a bad knee. They gave me room 5, on the ground floor, and it is a lovely room. Yes, there was no bath plug and the water pressure is low, but the room itself is beautiful. Very clean, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but again, it was fine. Lots of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, pastries, toast etc. The very best bit is the staff. The receptionist is outstanding and incredibly helpful. It is the most beautiful building and it really does need some money putting into it, but I would say that it is not anything like as bad as other reviews say. But I only saw my room!

Really run down but great location. Was on fourth floor, lift only to second floor. Hard work going up and down and I am fit. Water pressure for shower was poor and fixtures broken.

On arrival the room was on the 4th floor lift only to the 2nd, room small stuffy no openable window as it was broken, toilet broken, filthy towels on the bathroom floor, dirty bed linen with blood stains. Complained moved to a suite actually just a normal sized room, which still had issues. On the garantee we had this new room for the duration of our stay we stayed as we had Americanfriends at the hotel, only to recieve a call on the Friday day 5 of our 6 night stay to return and move to a smaller room at this stage we checked out never again.

On arrival our room on the 4th floor (no lift after floor 2) room stuffy ,window broken, dirty towels, dirty bed linen with blood stains,toilet leaked did not flush. Complained given better room called a suite again dull ,stuffy, wall paper peeling off the walls, one dangerous light we could not use, broken sharp bathroom floor tiles, bath panel falling apart. As we were there at your alternative hotel and the fact we were meeting our American friends also staying there as your alternative we decided as the new room was an improvement and we could stay in the room until Sunday we stayed.On Friday while out we had a call from the hotel to come back pack up and move to a smaller room, at this point we returned packed up and moved to another hotel costing us, but at least we felt treated better. As we left the manager followed us down the street trying to pacify us but this was to late. We would like the the last two nights refunded . This was a very stressful experience for myself and my wife.
