First, the positives: The location. Just a one-minute walk from the subway, with great restaurants and cafés nearby if you don’t feel like going all the way into the city center. The area is quiet, and we felt perfectly safe. The beds were a bit small for a double, but still very comfortable.
However, I wouldn’t book this hotel again. For one, we were given an accessible room for people with disabilities. The shower had no separation from the rest of the bathroom, so after showering, the entire floor was wet. The toilet didn’t have a lid, and the sink was positioned so low that you had to bend down uncomfortably — everything was set up very low. It’s understandable for accessibility reasons, but for guests who don’t need these features, it’s quite inconvenient.
The room also wasn’t very clean and looked rather worn.
Now to the staff: They were friendly and helpful when we arrived, but unfortunately not at checkout. We had paid for early check-in, but that didn’t help since we still couldn’t get into our room until 2 p.m. To make matters worse, the early check-in fee was still charged at checkout. We had to argue with the front desk clerk, who simply didn’t believe us — even though we showed proof by email! He quickly became rude and loud, which felt very unprofessional. The customer should always be treated with respect, not accused of lying. In the end, the charge was finally removed, but by then the whole experience had left a bad impression.
