Disapointting
When I arrived the hostel in the evening, I got my room but I found that the staff place me the wrong room type. Lucky, there were still beds for the ladies in other room. I got the new room but the electronic card is not working. I told the staff and I tried several times, it's still. To be honest, I was extremely tired at that moment but I still cannot get in my room. The staff was not able to tell me when it will be fixed, so I just go out again to spend my time. When I came back, the staff told me I was charged 20£ because I broke it. What the H? I supposed he was just joking but he told me it was said from his 3 big boss..."The Boss" of the hostel, they don't know everything and just do that. I am happy if you check the CCTV how I did nicely for the lock. Fortunately , the staffs was understanding and didn't charge me. However, I am very disappointed during my stay. It is a not bad hostel for this price. If these problems can avoid or solve with a good way in the future, it will be better...

cold room, dirty breakfast, rough staff. The worst hotel I meet.

Dear guest, thank you for your comment. We are totally disagree with your review about the Hostel. First, the radiators are working 24/7 in all our rooms. The room can not be cold, but if that happens, you can always come to report it to the reception. Then you said, dirty breakfast?? We are so sorry but you know this is not true. We have an amazing breakfast, which is served everyday between 7.30 till 9.00. Also you are mentioning that our staff is rude, when we are very friendly and we are always available to help all of you. Sorry but I don't think you are right. Regards, Xenia

I stayed one night key charge £5 deposit they said when you leve put the key in later box when receptionist come at 9 am you will get your £5 back nearly 9 days and i am still waiting for my refund.

property is unique on its way to lovely and heartwarming people, kitchen staff is unbelievably amazing people. however, I got itchy bites from sleeping in the bed, and my feet have been itchy since I used the public shower.

The entire staff, including but not limited to Elise, Ade, Greg, Aj, Kiera, Morena & Parth were amazing. They all were very accommodating and helpful. They all work very hard on maintenance and cleanliness. I would stay here again! Thank you to all the new friends i made on this leg of my journey!

Le sol de notre chambre collait et était sale, il n'y avait aucune isolation sonore, nous étions dans une chambre à l'étage des toilettes, donc nous entendions tout ce qu'il s'y passait. De la porte d'entrée au palier qui grince, les gens qui claquent les portes des toilettes, les chasses d'eau, le sèche-main équivalent au bruit d'un aspirateur, et cela toute la nuit. De plus, il y avait du jeu sous la porte qui laissait passer la lumière du couloir allumée tout le temps. Enfin, le comportement des gens qui le fréquentait en même temps que nous, détestable. De la musique à 1h du matin, les conversations en haut parleur, les éclats de rires à 3h du matin, tout cela aux toilettes !! Cependant, une note particulière au personnel qui est très gentil et réactif, nous avions un problème de télévision qui a été résolu immédiatement.

No worth even the cheap fees you pay.
no privacy curtains as pictured/described. which as a solo female in a room with 7 men, uncomfortable as anything. huge wads of chewing gum on wall just painted over. 1 sink to 4 (disgusting pee covered) toilets. where are you supposed to brush your teeth etc. toilets also on different floor to rooms. Make you pay deposit for key, but then don't pay it back as promised despite emailing to chase up.

Moldy walls, wallpaper torn, Toilettes were ok, but hand dryer or hair dryer not working. Might need to close down for a while and renovate it.

Two words: Bed bugs
Woke up with bites all over my hands, legs, feet and neck. Also the woman at the bar/reception was not at all friendly or welcoming and seemed to just want to get us in and out. At breakfast she got my order wrong even after writing it down, expressed annoyance when I ordered my drink seperately from mine and my friends food order and responded with rudeness when I asked if they had something... "if we had that I would have offered it to you" Not impressed.

We are sincerely sorry for your experience. Unfortunately based on the nature of the business this is something that we are unable to prevent from happening. As bedbugs latch onto peoples luggage etc and we are a hostel. However the rooms have now been fumigated. And we treat the rooms often due to the influx of guests.Also would like to apologise for your interraction with the staff please could you confirm any details in regards to this staff member. Thank you

Bugs bite
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at your hostel. The bed bugs were rampant, making it impossible for me to sleep throughout the night. This has left me extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay.

It’s cute, a little old with creaky loud stairs. Has a fridge and microwave to use which is nice and loose to the metro station and buses. The staff are amazing and very helpful

Good value for the money. Clean and friendly, good access to public transportation. Very basic. Could use a table or anything to put luggage on just to organize one's things. Comforter in pitiful condition.
