"Went in summer, so very quiet. Staff were friendly and when the hotel power went out communication was good and prompt. The front desk was not staffed the whole time while i was there, but this may be because of the time of year i stayed here. Very close to local shops and the room was clean and modern. "Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"If you're looking for authentic experience in Spanish village - that's your best choice. The building is historical, but extremely clean and well-maintained. The terrace is just magnificent - perfect to spending an evening with a bottle of vine. The area is just stunning. Dominique and Christa are amazing hosts - friendly, helpful and cheerful. They speak many languages, including English, which is rare in Spain. Their dog is a charmer as well. They made us a great breakfast, helped with luggage and gave numerous suggestions as to what to see in the area. I'm definitely stopping here if I ever come across that area."
