「We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening .」

「This is a little hidden gem in Alajeula! The restaurant/bar staff was especially friendly, helpful and polite. The bartender/mgr. Christopher, was exemplary! drinks were excellent, breakfast was quite tasty. The grounds are so lovely, we just regret we didn’t have more time to walk the trails of the property. The road facing room we had was pretty sparse and a bit noisy. I would recommend you upgrade to at least an interior room.」

「I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. 「We had a lovely stay overall. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property is beautiful, breakfast delicious, room comfortable and clean. As you have to keep doors open for ventilation, the surrounding area sounds such as motorcycles on the road and rooster next door are more apparent. Overall recommend!」

「The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...
