「The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. 「The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. Some of the glass window pains had black mould, not only around the edges but in the middle of the glass. We left pretty early because we couldn't be in the room anymore. 「Seriously unimpressed by the lack of help and assistance from the host to cancel, with nearly a weeks notice prior to our intended stay. We also found that some of the information provided on the property listing at the time of booking to be somewhat questionable, suggesting a cabin size of 215 sq ft and containing a bathroom, which we now understand relates to facilities in a separate building on the property. We will not be booking again.」

「The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating as we booked this cabin over an alternative due to the kitchen. The crockery/cutlery/cookware were dirty. 「Clean room comfortable bed. Tea coffee and biscuits provided and bottled water by bedside. Didn’t eat at hotel as out and didn’t book Breakfast as only staying one night. Pleasantly surprised and can see hotel has been refurbished. Would stay again if needed room in that area. More information could be provided on parking and where to access barrier before arrival That would help」

「It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning.」

「The cottage was spotless and faultless so much provided for and more. A lively welcome with homemade bara brith cake, milk, tea, coffee and sugar, fresh eggs. I could go on lusting the amazing amount of things provided. Eileen is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble even offering to do our washing. She is a very special person. 」

「No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. 」

Large steps to reach first storey difficult for parents in mid/late 80s but metal rails both sides helped. Highly recommend」
