「Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. 」

「Location / location etc. Very clean and as always very well furnished room . Would have preferred Tatton , but it's always booked . Staff excellent , shame the 'Pheasant Golden Ale' is no longer available . Even in wet grey weather , it's a great place to stay .」
