The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Excellent service. Lovely clean rooms. The only negatives i could say is that the fan, found in the wardrobe, was very dirty. I had to clean it before use...wash the blades etc. The shower temperature wasnt hot. Although we had a separate bath so its all good. The hotel is lovely. Breakfast was great. The waiter was very attentive. Will DEFINITELY be back.

We were able to check in early, which was a great help to our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Free tea/coffee/biscuits/fruit in the room, along with a proper tea pot to make the tea.... a real treat.

Excellent Stay but not.for.the frail elderly

My husband and I made this our second stay at The Grove House and found it as excellent as before with absolutely no faults the only thing that was a problem.was that my 87 year old mum was with us and found the stairs very difficult I admit.it was my fault for not checking there was a lift If visting my relatives in Wallasey again I would definately book again unless my.mumwas with.us and I would have to look elsewhere

Stayed for one night to attend a wedding in the gardens. The staff in the hotel and at the function were all excellent. Food was good and we were made to feel like friends rather than paying guests.

Could not recommend enough an absolute gem!

This was a fabulous hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us. We were in room 20 which was so spacious and quiet. The restaurant food both dinner and breakfast was first class with an amazing choice. Could not recommend this hotel enough especially if visiting Liverpool. (10 min walk to station or free car park - 25 mins to Liverpool St James Station) what a great find!

Sadly I was bottom of the list as far as hotel priorities were concerned. The wedding reception booked in for the same night as me took priority and I felt more of an annoyance to staff to be there. I wish I'd have been contacted before hand and informed of this as is have changed my hotel. Music went on late into the night, meaning I didn't sleep. Was glad to leave.

Been to this hotel several times now staff are always very good the rooms are very clean with lots of room the hotel food is 10/10 always get parked even when they got functions on close to train links into city centre

We stayed here so we could go and see George Ezra at the echo arena and I couldn’t have made a better choice. I can’t fault the hotel and staff from the very moment we checked in until we checked out. Reasonable priced with Breakfast and the breakfast was excellent, the room itself was spacious, big comfortable bed and nice shower room with tv. It was easy to get on the metro rail with a 5 minute walk to get to Liverpool with in 17 minutes. The best thing about the hotel apart from the above was the staff, very friendly and couldn’t have done enough for us! Will definitely stay here again.

The front desk misinformed us about the trains. We were awakened at 0900 to the sound of a whittling vacuumed next door. Wasn’t too thrilled that we had to walk through the kitchen to get to our room. The radiators did not work and the cleaner kept leaving the window open.
