A very convenient and nicely situated hotel. Free parking is the most important reason why we pick this hotel. Been to Liverpool many times, every time we have problems with the parking, spending time and money for that. Here the rent for one night for three ppl is only £29, and usually we have to pay at least £20-£25 for the day and overnight parking, so the hotel comes to be very cheap. Service is good, not too friendly for individual staff, reasonable clean, next to the dock, can see sunset if you are lucky. Will go back to this hotel every time if I am driving.

Brilliant staff! Very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was basic but so was the price. Everything was clean. It's designed for a budget couple of nights stay and it's brilliant to do exactly that . Location to town is very walkable. Would definitely stay again. Free parking is a major bonus.

Fabulous stay over a weekend, staff extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only 10 minutes into city. We also stayed for breakfast which lovely too.

Firstly, great parking and relatively easy to find. Location was good and it wasn’t too noisy from traffic at night. The rooms were mainly very clean, except My sink was a little dirty on arrival. My request for a water view was met which was appreciated. There is limited storage compared to other hotels, but ok for 1/2 nights. All items in my room were in good condition. The hot breakfast items were typical and tasted as standard really. The condition of the hotel overall I found to be very good. The biggest negative was the bathroom size, it wasn’t a bathroom, it was a plastic cubical with toilet, sink and shower crammed in. As a small, sole occupant I was ok with it, but wouldn’t like to share ! This is hidden on the hotels site. The breakfast on the first day was a little chaotic, not seated or assisted with the process. At first no table was available for me. The restaurant is a bit small for the size of hotel. There isn’t fresh decaf coffee, just the freeze dried sachets, which in this day and age isn’t really acceptable. There is fruit but it’s not presented in a way to have in a bowl or on your cereal/yoghurt. It would be better if they had cut up/peeled fruit as well as whole apples and bananas.

outstandingly friendly, helpful, efficient staff - all of them clearly love their jobs and working there. We felt looked after! Alan especially was a star and also his collegue (a young lady sorry I didn't spot your name but you knew who you are). She had her eye on helping us all the time. Front of house staff were knowledgeable about the area and offered to order taxis. Spotless. Excellent breakfast. We will be back. Thank you. x

Rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate and comfortable for 2 people. Ensuites are "pods" installed in the rooms and so are small but useable. Staff are all excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and hot food was hot, not lukewarm as in so many other hotels. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time though we did experience very brief "outages" in our room. Location was perfect, situated on the edge of Queen's Dock, with rooms on one side of the hotel overlooking the waterfront, very close (easy walking distance) to many of the museums and attractions in the docks and city centre area. One HUGE bonus: parking is on-site and free! And because of the hotel's proximity to so much of Liverpool's attractions, there's no need to have to use a car to get anywhere, unless you want to! We chose to visit some more distant areas, e.g., Aigburth and Ormskirk, since Liverpool was where my wife and I first met over 50 years ago and these were places special to us and where we lived at the time. As an EV driver I was particularly pleased to have charging points available in the hotel car park, and at a very reasonable price when compared with "common" public chargers, 59p per kWh, up to 22 kW. Overall an excellent short break!
