Amazing hotel, in great location!

The staff was incredible, we stayed here for NYE and couldn't have had a better time. Rocco the restaurant attached is also fantastic. Location is also amazing!

Exquisite hotel in a beautiful part of Lisbon. Easy access by car and very walkable to many sites. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was luxurious and comfortable. Restaurant and bar get crowded at night so make a reservation if you want to eat dinner. Always was able to get a seat for a quick coffee or a drink though. Highly recommend.

The Iven's boutique hotel in Lisbon is amazing! I would give it 10 stars if I could. I stayed there for 6 nights during a trip to Portugal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was amazing & the rooms are super comfortable. Rocco bar is super cool and delicious food and drinks. It was the perfect location to walk to lots of restaurants, pink street, the water, etc.

Generally excellent. The check in is on the first floor which is a bit odd and slightly inconvenient. The parking is valet and they didn’t charge me. The lobby could do with a bar and somewhere to buy coffee. The room and bed were excellent. Concierge was very helpful but one of the restaurants she recommended was only average, the other brilliant.

If there was an option for 10 stars I would have chosen that! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had the absolute best time! We arrived, room was ready given it was lunch time we decided to have a bite in the restaurant! OMG gorgeous! The food was served in a beautiful light filled room with gorgeous design and delicious food. They make a tiramisu in front of you! Needless to say we ate there several times! The rooms are so stylish, bathrooms fantastic, it's luxury and luxurious! One night we had a few drinks at the bar, it's incredible. The doors are closed in the lobby and you can't imagine this incredible space is beyond and you can't hear a thing! My favourite place to stay in Lisbon, you have my heart!

I am torn on this review. The Chiado area of Lisbon that the Iven's is in is extraordinary, but the hotel itself falls short in many categories. The staff is either hot or cold. The rooms were VERY small, even for European standards. The bathrooms were unacceptable for the $800 per night price tag. Housekeeping was wonderful, the free mini bar amenities were gracious, and the breakfast was delightful.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations greatly. I spend much time researching hotels and areas and decided on The Ivens. My husband and I enjoyed the friendly staff, the gorgeous decor, the romantic ambiance of the bar and restaurants. There were plenty of options on cocktails, liquors, wines and the food was impeccable. The area was quiet, safe and walkable to many restaurants. The concierge was extremely helpful and gave us daily recommendations. The room was spacious, storage for luggage was wonderful and they left daily tips and treats in our room. If you are considering this hotel, look no further. When we return to Portugal again, it will certainly have our business. Thank you Ivens for a superb stay to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary.
