From the time we arrived at the Hotel until we walked out the door everyone was amazing. From the front office helping with restaurants, tours, all the way to a birthday cake delivered to the room. The restaurant was unbelievable as well the service in the Breakfast was fantastic and so pleasing and pleasant every person in this establishment went out of their way to make sure you had wonderful experience. Rating 10 out 10.

The Santiago De Alfama was the most exquisite hotel in the most perfect old world Lisbon location. While the hotel is elegant & chic to the highest degree, the attentiveness and kindness of the staff was what really made our stay. Specifically, Ruben in concierge & Maria in dining. So elegant with incredible service. But ALL of the other staff as well. Thank you very much. We loved our stay.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is small with 19 rooms only, in a beautifully restored building in the Alfama area of Lisbon. Each room is different and lovingly decorated. Bathrooms are large with Bulgari products. Lovely bedding, great bar and restaurant with outdoor dining. A great collection of art as well. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved every minute of our stay! The continental breakfast, hotel restaurant/bar, staff, and location made it worth every single penny! In our opinion, the hotel is in the best location—tucked away so it’s peaceful but right outside the hustle and bustle of the old town (and near the castle which was convenient). We also randomly met the hotel owner who was very friendly and humble. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone who is visiting Lisbon!

Great stay at the Santiago de Alfama! The people were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! We loved the food at the restaurant, but recommend choosing to get the breakfast some mornings and going to local spots the other mornings! Corquettes were the best!

From the moment we arrived the staff at Santiago de Alfama made our stay truly memorable. We received a warm welcome from Rita and Martin with a brief tour of the history and renovations of the property. Our "small room for two" was spacious with beautiful views of the courtyard and river. The hotel was immaculate and a perfect location to see all of the historical districts of Lisbon. Lana arranged our spa treatments, taxi and offered recommendations on how to get around. Our massages at the spa were wonderful - thanks to Ajah and Thelma!! The restaurant, bistro and bar were all fantastic. The wines selected by Enrique were a spectacular compliment to our food. This is the perfect combination of service, location, and food. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at - we would highly recommend for your stay in Lisbon.

The hotel was amazing and the reception staff and dining staff very helpful and friendly- we loved the junior suite and all the facilities. There are a number of derelict properties surrounding the hotel which didn’t directly affect us - but did detract from the general ‘high end’ feel

Great Hotel with an awesome restaurant

Santiago de Alfama hotel is a beautiful quaint hotel in the center of historic Lisbon. The service was top notch and the room was beautiful. I loved the hotel and is made my trip to Lisbon memorial. The BEST aspect of my stay, and it was all very good, was the food in the restaurant. Audrey’s. The food was exquisite. From the tomato carpaccio to the grilled octopus to the banana pudding. It made a very good trip great! Thank you
