Room was very uncomfortable. Air con didn’t work and room got very stuffy. Kids bed was very uncomfortable. Lots of noise from outside all contributed to none of us sleeping well at all for our two night stay

Das Schlafsofa im Zimmern war nicht benutzbar. Das Kopfteil war abgerissen, die liegefläche durchgebogen im Rücken hat man das Metallgestänge gespürt.

No shampoo in bathroom. That’s basic, but minor. But I don’t know if I missed the notice on Expedia about construction. Due to jet lag, my kids and I were still sleeping at 825 AM. I was startled awake by persistent loud squeaking noises. I thought someone upstairs was having “a good time in bed” but alas when it went on for 10 or more minutes and the noises evolved to banging and drilling so loud that I could not bear to be in the room another minute, I got up and left. The staff was nice, they were pleasant at check in and check out. It’s not a reflection on them. I just was not prepared for the construction noise and disruption. I would have gotten a different hotel had I been aware.

Hôtel accueillant, avec bonne literie, grande salle de bain, très bon petit déjeuner. Par contre, nous avons été dérangés par le bruit de travaux dans ou à proximité de l’hôtel. De plus, l’hôtel est un peu excentré.

Lovely people and great restaurant and breakfast. Easy access to main attractions. The beds incl sofa bed are in need of urgent upgrade. All facilities are old including the gym.

I booked Novotel, as I was staying in Novetel branches several times before and was satisfied with the other Novotels before. This time it was different, as also the reseptionist was hardly able to talk English. The room, we got, was durty and in bad condition (the mattress was wear down etc,). There was 1 small bottle or complementary water for 2 guests for a 3 night stay. In the morning you had to wait at least 20 min. to catch the lift --- just to mention the worst things - oh no - the hotel is exactly down entry path of the busy Malaga Airport. Means every 5 min. an aricraft was landing during day an night. It said there where soundproof windows - I guess these windows might not even protect you from normal everyday noise. Last but not least, the AC was not working. This hotel is a shame for the whole Novotel group.

Hotellet ligger godt og personalet er venligt. Vi kom lige inden jul, hvorfor man i restauranten havde valgt at skære ned på menuen til kun at omhandle snacks. Det var okay, men ikke det vi havde håbet på. Værelset var fint, men der var ikke muligt at køle ned, og det var ekstrem varmt i værelset. Vedligeholdelse kom forbi, men trak på skuldrene og sagde at køling havde de kun om sommeren. Så vi lå og svedte den ene nat vi var der.

O hotel é muito bom e bem localizado. Tivemos apenas um problema com a temperatura dos quartos. O hotel tem um sistema de ar central que estava muito quente, e não era possível aumentar a temperatura. Passmos muito calor nas 3 noites que ficamos por lá e, ao questionarmos o hotel sobre essa situação, falaram que o máximo que poderiam fazer seria nos realocar para outro quarto que eventualmente estivesse menos quente.

Pésima experiencia
Muy mala experiencia, no regresáremos. Fuimos en viaje con las niñas y con nuestro perrito, para empezar te cobran 29euros por día por la mascota, pero no te dan ni camita o platito para el perrito, lo cuál hacen en otros hoteles a los que hemos ido que son pet friendly, el hotel es viejo y la limpieza pésima, el baño tiene un olor muy malo que se intensifica pasando los días, las camas nada cómodas. Tienen 3 elevadores los cuales siempre están llenos, por lo que siempre terminas utilizando las escaleras, si vas en auto preparare para buscar estacionamiento en otro sitio ya que también siempre está lleno ya que tiene muy pocas plazas. Muy mala experiencia en los últimos 2 Novotels en los que nos hemos quedado.

Good stay at novotel. Nothing out of ordinary, good business type hotel although we stayed with little one age there were some video games for younger kids. Staff was good mostly. Property is bit old but we ok for the 4 nights we stayed with sofa bed

Would stay again
Was a bit dubious after reading some reviews, however, was a very pleasant stay. A little tired in places, but comfortable room and staff very helpful and polite.

The location isn’t great and the meal I ordered at the restaurant was quite bad. I ordered steak and fries and the steak was practically raw, tough and I wasn’t able to cut the steak for at least one bite. I return my dish and left.

Hotel a bit run down, been to better Novotels….e.g mold in the bathroom to start with… We have left our bags at the hotel because the room was not ready, but when we got our staff back items were missing…..no apology, no solutions provided, no compensation but instead ignorance. Really not a level of an international Hotel chain.

We spant the the last night before flying home.it was ok for one night. The lobby is modern, going up to the room we were quite dissapionted, its a trip back in the past like for 20 years. The room was additionally stuffy, air condition was warm and not adjustable (the regulator did not work). Next time we will choose another location before the fly.
