The room was great. The staff was amazing. Draw backs were no coffee in the room, hall lights that shut off too soon and some floors had a strong urine smell when I used the stairs.

Good place for a short stay

Pluses: location( the best possible, minutes to historical center and not far from Alfama); nice (but smallish) room; clean; good value. Minus: noise from rue Arsenal all night; breakfast room was closed. All in all: good place for a short stay.

A Delightful Stay in Lisbon

My recent stay at Lisbon Arsenal Suites was a true delight. From the friendly staff to the comfortable accommodations, I had a wonderful time exploring Lisbon from this convenient base. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a variety of Portuguese delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Lisbon.

The service was exceptional, the staff were super helpful and professional, unfortunately the location of the hotel is near by bars and Main Street so I couldn’t really have a good sleep due to noise from outside.

Great place to stay, good location, lovely staff

Great place to stay. Lovely friendly and very helpful staff. Great clean rooms and comfy beds. Great breakfast, with good choice and always freshly filled. Wonderful location for all the sights and transport links. Close to waterfront, landmarks and shops. Historic building with lift. The hotel is located in a flat walkable / accessible part of the city with taxi access outside.

Great location near the main square and a main transit station (Caise do Sodre). Also, easily walking to pedestrian/tourist areas. Friendly staff and clean premises. Only issue is that the breakfast room is located up one flight of stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location in the downtown core, rooms were spacious and water (shower)was nice and hot, lots of pressure which I prefer. Only negative is that it is a bit loud, streetcar and people walking into the early morning making noise, otherwise… very nice! Staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel

Hotel was nice. Good location. One thing to check is when bolt/Uber drop you off, the app takes you behind the hotel which is a long way from the entrance. Nothing to to with the hotel but bear in mind if travelling from the airport.

What you are seeing in the website is definitely not what you get. Our 1st room was Hot & the air conditioning did not work. They moved us to a very small room after that. We feel that we did not get the room that we originally paid for. You get 2 towels & a floor mat that is it! No wash clothes, hand towels or extra towels. The bed was not a king that we purchased. It was basically a box spring that we slept on. 2 very small pillows & 1 scratchy blanket. The shower water overflows so you would have to get wet, turn the water off, soap up, & then rinse off. For 2 people you were given 1 water glass. We would give this hotel 2 out of 10. Very uncomfortable place to stay. The location was good as it was right downtown. That’s the only thing this place has going for it. Even the cab driver that dropped us off was questioning if we really wanted to stay.

The location was great, staff were extremely helpful and nice. Nevertheless, I booked a suite with two rooms and one of the rooms lacked an air conditioner. Had to request a fan from the lobby and they provided one. Nevertheless, they should have informed that one of the rooms was not A/C equipped

The property & amenities are basic at this hotel . Room was mattress / box spring on the floor. Very small. No phone in room to contact front desk. No coffee maker - kettle in room with 1 pkg of instant coffee ( for 2 people) Positives - location is great for walking around . Pink street & time out Market is min away. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is good—walkable. It’s a bit tricky for Uber or Bolt to get to because they’re technically not allowed on the block the hotel is on. So I have to get off around the corner and walk over. The bathroom is a bit old, there’s mildew on the caulkings. The bathroom is big but the shower is tiny. Walls are not soundproof—you’ll hear ppl talking, having sex, the pipes between the wall. You can hear ppl walking upstairs. It’s loud and unfortunately it’s not a great space for light sleepers.

Location is perfect for anyone looking to explore downtown Lisbon. Literally steps from the waterfront, the commercio square, the pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods and also the busy pink street. Value is unbeatabe especially when you add the buffet breakfast, which was great. The rooms were very clean and modern. We had 2 issues in our room, hence the 4 star rating: neither the AC or the safe worked. They offered to change rooms on the second day but we declined because we were only staying 2 nights. Our kids were in another room and had no problems. One important note: the Uber app does not direct its divers to the front door of this hotel. Likely because Rua Arsenal is a narrow 2-lane street with trolley tracks going both ways. So no lane for a driver to park without being on the tracks. This caused some confusion when our uber dropped us off from the airport a block away at Placa Municipal and we had to ask around to find the hotel. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.

The location was excellent. At check in our room was missing a remote control for the air conditioner and there were only 2 towels in the bathroom (no hand towels or bath mat towels). Once we got a remote for the air conditioner (which was visibly dirty), we discovered it turns itself off every 30mins or so, we asked the staff if this setting could be changed and they said they would look at it but it was never fixed. This made for unpleasant sleeping conditions as I kept waking up multiple times a night due to the heat and stuffy air and had to turn it back on. Opening the window was not an option as it smelled like garbage and fish outside and flies buzzing around. Additionally our shower drain was partially clogged and would back up and flood the bathroom if you had the water at full pressure. While we did love the location, but I am not sure I would stay here again unless it was a colder month and the air conditioner was not needed.
