this was the most perfect hotel in lisbon! everyone was so friendly and the food was great. we were walking distance from so many shops and the tram station, so very convenient.

Pros: - It was a charming/quaint hotel - Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful - Free breakfast was a plus - They did let us check in a little early. They also stored our bags when we first got there Cons: - WiFi didn’t work in our room and half of the time in the common area - We were on the ground floor (room 20) and you could hear every sound above us. We had to sleep with AirPods in & white noise to block the heavy foot steps and banging. It was very inconvenient when being jet lagged and needing sleep. This is why we’re giving it 4-stars - The location was a little out of the way from everything. I wish we were 10 mins closer. We love walking but the hills made this hotel feel inconveniently located Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic property! The staff was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast spread is wonderful. Accommodations were comfortable and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the Rossio train station. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel! Geven tips over wat te doen en wanneer het beste is om het te doen. Ook geven ze tips over waar je goed kan eten en reserveren zelfs voor je. Elke dag lag er een persoonlijk briefje op de kamer met tips over wat je in de omgeving zou kunnen doen. Wij waren jarig tijdens ons verblijf en werden van harte gefeliciteerd en kregen een taartje met een kaarsje bij het super goede en uitgebreide ontbijt. Bij terug komst op de kamer (voorzien van Rituals in de badkamer) lag er wederom een persoonlijk kaartje met een flesje port erbij. Ik kan iedereen dit hotel aanraden het ligt super centraal en is gewoon een dikke 10!

Great place to stay

Lovely small hotel - spotlessly clean throughout and beautifully presented. The position means it is easy to reach lots of key areas and/or catch local transport. The staff are all friendly and very helpful and seem to genuinely enjoy working at Charming House. Breakfast is excellent, lots of freshly prepared choices and the hot option is kept topped up rather than a tray cooked at the start and left throughout. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Charming Hotel

We had a lovely time in Lisbon and are very glad that we chose to stay at this lovely hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming & helpful and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and a great place to return too after a day exploring in the heat. Breakfast was included and had a great selection to choose from. The staff really do deserve a lot of praise as they clearly take pride in ensuring guests are very well looked after

Superb stay in charming Lisbon hotel

We loved this small charming hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent service.The breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely top floor room with a balcony and view over the rooftops. The air con was very effective at keeping the room cool in the Lisbon heat. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Very cute, nicely run boutique hotel. Very clean! Amazing, friendly staff! Location is very walkable to tourist areas but not in the busy areas which was nice. Would stay again the next time i come to portugal!

We found this B&B for our 2-day layover visit to Lisbon, and we would not hesitate to book it for a future stay. Very close to restaurants, Time Out Market, and the Tram 28 stop. Tram stop to Belém is also a short walk away. Beautiful property!

Excellent séjour au Dear Lisbon

Notre séjour à l'hotel Dear Lisbon a été très agréable : le personnel est charmant, prend des initiatives pour vous rendre service et faciliter votre séjour. L'hotel est décoré avec goût, les petits déjeuners délicieux. L'emplacement de l'hotel est parfait pour visiter Lisbonne, en plein centre et prêt des moyens de transport mais très calme et isolé du bruit de la rue. Je recommande très vivement cet hotel et remercie encore son personnel pour sa gentillesse et son accueil.

We stayed here the first week of June 2025 and really enjoyed the proximity to several local sights, restaurants and shops. The pool was chilly but refreshing after long days in the sun. Breakfast was delicious and service was impeccable. Special shoutout to Jess who was incredibly helpful during our stay. The only (slight) drawback was that the rooms aren't all that sound proof and because many folks choose to have breakfast in the courtyard, you're guaranteed to be woken up by 8am.

The service at Dear Lisbon is above and beyond - the staff really want you to feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, wine was very good, and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback is the rooms are quite small and there is little noise insulation. Earplugs helped with the noise and otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was lovely and within walking distance of the city centre. It was in a safe residential area. Easy to navigate and Tram 28 just up the road. Lots of nice shops and restaurants locally. Staff were very knowledgable and more than happy to offer recommendations for trips, restaurants etc.

We had a fantastic stay, the staff friendliness and helpfulness was absolutely outstanding, the room was comfortable, clean and felt beautiful and there was a beautifully presented breakfast with lots of options each morning. The not having drinks or food in your room request, along with a coffee machine and teabags was a little confusing-it would have been nice to have freely had a cup of tea and a biscuit after a day out. Otherwise, I can’t fault this property and would stay again without hesitation. 10/10

Uns hat dieses kleine Hotel sehr gut gefallen! Das Zimmer zur Straße war klein aber völlig ok, da man eh nur zum schlafen dort ist! Betten war sehr bequem und alles war super sauber! Das Personal alle sehr freundlich! Das Frühstück war wahnsinnig gut für so ein kleines Hotel! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Das einzige was wir schade fanden, dass es das Frühstück erst ab 8.00 uhr gab! Gerade wenn man die Stadt erkunden möchte und früh los will! Aber sonst war alles 1a.... wir kommen gerne wieder !

Clean rooms and close to city center. Can be challenging to climb for someone with mobility needs because the hotel entrance is on a steep hill incline. However, what makes this hotel so extraordinary is the hotel staff and service. Incredible service by staff and attention to details. Wonderful experience!

We stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel. Location is perfect. Design is lovely. The staff are so brilliant, we were made to feel very special and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Very much enjoyed our stay, thank you so much.
