「We like to stay in hotels settled in historic buildings like the ones of the Spanish Paradores. The Pousada reminded us of it. The spacious rooms in a quiet ambiance with antic furniture a fire place, piano and oil paintings on the walls were appealing to us. The room also had several English language TV channels to catch up on latest news. The breakfast on the house was excellent and the best we had on our entire 4 week trip in Spain and Portugal.
