We stayed for one night and enjoyed the friendly service, convenient location, and clean comfortable room. We walked the short distance to Kauai Diner for a very tasty meal.
This hotel is a gem! Great price for nice, spacious room. Very clean, even cleaner and more well cared for than places like the Cliffs or the Sheraton. Wonderful stay!
The room was clean and inviting. The staff were warm and welcoming. The A/C worked very well as did the fridge. The best part of this hotel is their location. They are perfectly situated near Rice Street and good restaurants like Kauai Diner and Restaurant Kiibo. We enjoyed parking the car and walking all around!
Very clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay. The mattress was very comfortable. Area was very quiet. So we were able to get a good night's sleep. The grounds around the hotel with the landscaped. There is an outside common area with some cultural exhibits. Within walking distance there are some nice restaurants. There is ample parking. Within a few blocks walk there is a nice art alley. Place even has a nice cat friendly that roams around. I highly recommend this place.

Amd the staff was very friendly
we didn't use the kitchen but glad we had that option. great place to land for the night after a late flight. beds comfy, AC worked good but floors were really dirty.
The general manager Ronald offers all guests a personal history course on the Hawaiian Islands, complete with photos and artifacts from his personal collection. It was fascinating and the highlight of our trip to Kauai. We will be back for his advanced course!

This place is old. Room is small and bathroom especially the shower is teeny tiny. But it’s clean, good for one night in and out. It has a vintage historic feel. Bed comfortable and clean. It met our minimum needs.

Staff was good. Room fair at best. Hot water in shower did not work.
It was the cutest little cottage! Two bedrooms with two bathrooms, kitchen, and living area. It felt like we were living like “locals” in Kauai! We even had our own parking port. It feels old school with the “real key,” and it is in a less touristy area, but very convenient to the airport and main roadway. This is not a 5 star resort-type fancy local, but we really liked it.

We only stayed 1 night. The bed and room was clean. The bathroom was small. It's walking distance to the airport and the price was appreciate compared to other places.
Rini was very welcoming and kind. The room was clean, the queen bed was comfortable, and the fridge, microwave & coffee maker were great. I would definitely stay here again.
Great kamaaiana hotel!
All these years when we would stop by Hamura Saimin we noticed this hotel around the corner.
Finally stayed overnight this past weekend and the room was very clean, simple and quiet.
The staff were very helpful & friendly
We had 3 in family stay over… and would definitely stay here again.

Appreciates the cottage, its size-for-value, its proximity to coffee, the Night Market, and a church. The outdoor seating area in the fenced patio and in the front picnic area were great quiet areas in which to read, write, and work. The staff was friendly and tranquil.
It was an older place but clean and the room was large. We just needed a room for the night and it worked well for us. Our check in last was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for supper
