「Royal Sonesta is always clean, modern and special. It’s an amazing hotel and worth the price for a mountain or ocean view. Beach access plus that pool?! Perfect. Kalapaki beach is a favorite beach for locals and surfers, but never too crowded. The mountain views are breathtaking. The higher the floor, the better the view! I am a local who has since moved to the mainland, but Kalapaki beach is always what feels like home to me, so I love staying here and feeling extra special being a hotel guest....

「Beautiful ocean view, some friendly staff and a good pool. One hot tub was out so everyone was huddle in the very small hot tub which was a bummer. They don’t mention when you book they are undergoing major property renovations which I understand is needed but a heads up would have been great.
