Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai.

Place is magnificent for location amenities and surrounding markets you do not have to leace if you dont want to you have everything there next to you and it is best place to be right in the middle of notth and south shore we also love the free bike rentals and valet when needed

The hotel was in a great location and had a nice room. We did experience cold showers often while there. The bar was good but the restaurant had issues and were not the best at accommodating guests. Bikes that could be borrowed were very limited and had to get there early to get one. Able to walk to most locations or drive.

This is a very nice relatively economical resort with a beautiful beach, 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, beautiful landscaping, and free bike rentals at the end of a 12-mile bike path along the coast. We loved having a full kitchen in our room in the Maile building. We took advantage of the hot tub and bikes. We also enjoyed a nice dinner at Lava Lava Beach club in the property. We had an issue with our bathtub drain and the staff came and corrected it within a hour of our request! The biggest problem with this resort is parking. There is not enough and the situation is made worse by a sewage pump replacement project which takes a portion of the parking lot for a construction site and is projected to last at least another half year. During this period, the resort might consider renting some parking from the strip mall next door as the valet parking is simply not enough to handle the need.

The property is beautiful and well-kept outside. Rooms are updated, however, the walls are pretty thin and housekeeping could have been better. We were awakened numerous times throughout the night and early morning with flushing toilets, people in the halls, and pressure washers on the patio. The Lava Lava restaurant was amazing and the adjacent beach had plenty of lounge chairs. We also appreciated the valet service accommodating us when they already had 100 cars. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

All around a very nice place, lots of families with young children, the staff was great, the food was always good. We did a wedding there because my son the groom had visited this place at lest 3 times prior to this visit and all the family had a good time and the wedding went on without a glitch and I'm sure the wedding couple will attend her again in the future.

The location cannot be beat and the property was very well maintained. Although small, there was always plenty of room at one of the pools or chairs at the beach. We will definitely be visiting here again soon.

Clean room, facilities. Air conditioning along with the fan kept the room comfortable. Because we are near the beach and pool, to keep the athestics you can’t hang anything to dry. Luckily you there is laundry and dryer to use. Very nice maintained facility.

I can't believe how perfect this hotel was. It reminds me of the funky, laid back beachside hotels of Tulum circa early 2000's. Clean, safe, with every convenience imaginable including free valet- with zero pomp and circumstance of a luxury resort.

Great hotel, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were clean, 2 pools and hot tubs and loungers were nice. Parking could be a bit of a pain, and the attached restaurant/bar that was on the beach was too expensive, so we found other really great options in Kapaa.

So happy with our week long stay. From proximity to main road, cleanliness, size of standard room, two pools, jacuzzi, and being steps from the water this place was perfect. Check in/out process was simple and staff was so very friendly. They have free self and valet parking, free bike rentals on a first come first served bases, free yoga in the morning, and filtered water refill stations. One last thing this place is walking distance from coconut market place which has restaurants, shops and best of all an ABC store! It's also walking distance from Napali brewing, passion bakery cafe and other great places!
