The staff is nice and we had a smooth check in but they do advertise a restaurant and have photos of it but it doesn’t exist and there is no where near to get food unless we take another taxi and spend more money so we are going to bed hungry so it would have been nice to have that information sooner.

Was a decent room for a night. Nothing is really around the hotel and I would recommend just staying in Liberia if traveling the following day. My girlfriend I and didn’t even get breakfast as it was only open from 7-8:30 which we didn’t know.

Close to airport. Despite that it was quiet. Good price. They can provide transport to airport on request. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is eating close by, but quite limited. Good inexpensive choice if you have an early morning flight.

Room was very clean. The hotel is very close to airport and was a bed and bathroom type setup with air conditioner and Television which is perfect if your looking for a nights rest without all the extras. I needed a place for one night to catch a flight the next day so the price was very good plus they had a bus to take me to the airport.

We read a lot of bad reviews but with lack of hotels decided to stay here anyways. It's quite far out of Liberia so the amenities are far away but the hotel itself was lovely. Clean, quiet, they got us anything they could. Bed was comfy. No complaints and would stay here again.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Santa Ana, while waiting for my departure flight to Canada out of the Guanacaste airport, the next morning. There’s not 1 negative thing I can say about this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and everything is in good working order. The wall mounted TV is definitely a nice touch. I feel safe here. There is a lot of secure parking available, if you have a vehicle. It’s only a 6 minute drive to the airport. I love their available shuttle service to the airport for $12, it’s very convenient. There is several places to eat I found all within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, as well as a convenience store (Sun Market Convenience store) that is a 10 minute walk away. I like the affordability. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I will definitely be back! 🙂

The place was clean and priced appropriately. However, the restaurant was closed when we got there. There are not a lot of close options if you are on foot. They were varnishing some of the furniture, which is nice, but not so nice if they put it back into the room before it dries. The smell was nauseating, so we dragged them out to the hallway. The staff was nice and helpful. The airport shuttle was greatly appreciated!

Cheap place to stay near airport. Nothing else reasonably priced in the area. Basic room, but if you just need a place to crash for the night before catching a flight then it will do. Plumbing needs updating. Website says restaurant on site, but there isn't. No problems if you have a car. They do have an airport shuttle and staff arranged for a VERY early ride - Thank you guys!

There were no other places to stay as there were local festivities happening so I took this place fully knowing what I was getting into after reading other reviews. I was in room 24 which is next to highway and the window could not be fully closed so road noise was high. I put earplugs on but still it was loud. I had the AC on which was actually working quietly and efficiently. There was also hot water unlike what some other reviews said, but since weather was hot, there was no need to use it. instead of geckos which I have seen in other places, there were some frogs on the shower walls, which I did not mind since they were kind of cute.

It was close to the airport and room was clean so it served the purpose. The room was too small for 2 people. We only had 1 towel and no shampoo. There was no place to sit outside and it was very noisy.

The staff was nice and friendly. The property was dingy and needed updating. The walls were so thin, we could hear the conversation in the room next to ours. The location was right on a busy highway near the airport so the noise level from outside was very high as well. Our room had one bath towel, no hand towel or wash cloth.
