The hotel was sparse but absolutely clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to restaurants, and staff gave me a great rundown of restaurant options. The morning coffee in the lobby was outstanding, and the garden was peaceful. A simple, lovely first night in Costa Rica.

It was a comfortable bed and relatively quiet. The photo was misleading as we thought all the doors opened to the outside, but in fact, they all opened to an inside corridor so we could hear people in the morning. Also, we didn't see that we needed to check in by 10 p.m. so it's good we called and found out and they were kind enough to wait for us as we had a late flight. Otherwise, everything was great.
