「Nous avons été très déçus de cet hôtel. A notre arrivée tardive, on nous a attribué une chambre qui n'avait pas été faite. Nous avons du redescendre dans le noir avec nos bagages, traverser le parking peu éclairé pour que la personne de la réception nous attribue, sans s'excuser, une nouvelle chambre. Cette chambre n'était pas propre, moquette tachée, miroir brisé, impossible d'avoir de l'eau fraîche au robinet, volet intérieur très sale. Nous avons l'habitude de voyager, de prendre des hôtels...

「It was wonderful to stay in their home. They manage their guesthouse professionally, with a friendly breakfast service with local jams and honey. They seemed genuinely concerned about our well-being during our stay. The room was clean and with old-style amenities that seem to have disappeared from French hotels, like the washcloths for the showers and even just tissue paper. 」

「This is a hotel in Fontainebleau but it is not belle. I paid almost $400 a night (the Expedia rate was twice what they were showing at the hotel) for a room with no air conditioning and it was 98 degrees at night and impossible to sleep. Also, the bathroom smelled and there was a tv bracket on the wall but no tv. I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel room before.」

「I had such an amazing time staying at this house! the owner is soooo kind and helpful and i made some friends as well! the breakfast was prepared by the owner and it was delicious!!! she used fresh tomatos from her garden and it was absolutely amazing! the house was incredibly clean and the air conditioning was soooo nice! if i ever find myself on this side of france again i will absolutely be staying here again!!!!!」
