Nous avons réservé une nuit à la villa Aliénor, après avoir regardé les photos du site et les commentaires. A notre arrivée, nous fûmes très surpris, la réalité étant bien différente des photos! Nous n'avons pas été prévenus que la douche et les toilettes sont dans la chambre sans aucune séparation, ni mur, ni même un paravent.... Bonjour l'intimité! Très décevant.

Charming bed and breakfast on the Seine

Bed and breakfast in building from middle of 19th century in a small town on the Seine that existed since the middle ages. View of the ruins of Chateau Gaillard that Richard the Lion Hearted built as Duke of Normandy, and the Seine from some rooms but not ours. Rooms are updated with bathrooms and have quirky cute decor. The proprietess was friendly and answered many questions for places to visit in the area. Breakfast with cold cuts, cereal, fresh Normandie apple juice, bread, and cheeses from Normandie. Would have enjoyed the terasse on the Seine if the weather had been nicer. It has been a pretty cold and wet March so far.
